In 2004, ERA launched the direct response industry’s advertising self-regulatory program, ERSP. Panelists will explore the state of the industry at the time of inception and the reasons behind the program’s creation.

Panel 3 – Broadening the Scope: Self-Regulation in the Telemarketing Industry and BeyondWhile continuing its routine monitoring of traditional direct response advertising, ERSP has expanded its purview to evaluate messages communicated by new types of direct response marketing. Panelists will discuss new ERSP endeavors such as the ERSP Review Program, a voluntary program to monitor telemarketing sales calls and live seminar events.
